The End of an Era – But the Memories Live On
Wow… what a journey it’s been! From our very first Jersey Soul Weekend back in 2009 right through to 2025, we’ve shared some unforgettable times together – filled with amazing music, laughter, dancing, and lifelong friendships.
On behalf of Fitzy, Christine, all our brilliant DJs, and the ever-supportive Fitzsoul backroom crew, we just want to say a massive thank you to everyone who’s joined us along the way. Whether you came once or you’ve been part of the furniture every year, you’ve helped make the Jersey Soul Weekender something truly special.
A huge shoutout as well to the fantastic teams at the Mayfair Hotel (2009–2021) and the Merton Hotel (2022–2025) – you’ve looked after us and our soulful crowd with warmth and smiles every single time.
We’ve loved every minute of it, and we’re so proud of the community that’s grown around these weekends – bringing together soul music fans from all over the UK and the Channel Islands.
It really is the end of an era, but the good times, the tunes, and the friendships we’ve made will live on forever.
